Haiti is an island in the Caribbean. The epicentre of the Haitian earthquake of January 2010 was 25 km WSW of the Haitian capital city, Port-Au-Prince.

According to the US Geological Survey the exact co-ordinates were 18.457°N, 72.533°W.
