High school is more or less unimportant, except that you need to study whatever will get you into college, and if you're planning to be an architect, you might want to load up on optional math and "shop" classes, particularly those that involve drafting. Physics wouldn't hurt.
What you should study in college is, of course, architecture. Exactly what classes that entails is up to the discretion of the college; if you'd like to know what the requirements for the major are, contact the college you're planning to attend and ask.
No high school subjects are career subjects except for opportunity classes. I suggest you take classes in AP math and English. You will need a good command of writing skills and to think out of the box. Get good grades and take part in your student government. Take the SAT and get as good of a score that you can. All of these things will get you in a good college so you can reach your goal.

Your question should have read... Do the subjects you take in high school determine your career - and the answer is no. You choose school subjects in later school years to enhance your chances of getting the career you want - not the other way round.
