Ho w long does it take polyurethane to dry?

It must be baked on for 20 minutes or so at high temp, more if large item, less on smaller. There are places that will do it for you and sandblasting prior is best way to prep parts. Most the powder coat shops also blast them first.

On a floor, a week. A thin coat on PVC, 4 to 8 hours.

With good air circulation and low humidity, about 24 hours.
