If the SD card can fit into the two things, you shouldn't need to format or delete anything. You should be able to move it between the two and keep all the same pictures.
on the side of the card it has a mini switch hope tht helps!
You may find a small slider on the side edge of the card to lock and unlock it. The idea of it is to prevent accidental erasure of images.
'Format' removes all data stored on the card inside the camera. You should use this option with caution as you will lose all photos stored on that card, even if they have been marked as 'protected'/'locked'. This action cannot be undone.
Yes, formatting your camera (which formats the memory card as well) will delete your photos. You need to back up your photos before you format them, unless your photos are unwanted.
Most memory cards are sold empty so there is no need to format the card

Do you mean Formalize or Format the camera memory card?-ScottyB
you have to get a this card
First, get a Micro SD to SD adapter. Next, get an SD card reader. Put the Micro SD card in the adapter, and put the adapter in the card reader. Now, connect the card reader to your computer and take the data off the card. Once the data is off the card, put the Micro SD card back in your phone, and format the card. Put the Micro SD card back in the adapter, and put the data back on the card.
I hope you don't have the card in it, The computer does not see the holder, only the card. I don't know if your PC has a sd card slot, or your using a reader. But if you have the micro card in the card holder and you put it in the PC or a reader and it does not see the micro card, the reader, card holder, or micro card could be bad. Did you format the card, if you formatted the card with windows and used the wrong format, you killed it, and its no good. If you use any card,sd, mini, micro, in anything such as a cell phone or anything like this, you use the devise to format the card, never use windows to format the card. If you want, you just erase the card , that is, you delete the files off the card, DO NOT FORMAT the card just to remove what is on it. So, the computer does not see a holder, a reader, it only see's the card when it is in a holder or a reader. To answer your main question.
