It is a cold-working process. A sheet of metal is placed over a large die and then forced in with a punch. This creates the panel. The advantages are that car panels can be mass produced. Carbon fibre can also be used. This material has high strength-to-weight ratios hence why they use it in racing cars. hope this helps
Every car in production today uses two or more of the following materials. Listed from most to least popular:
And of course every car has glass in it.

Your body is made of molecules which are made of atoms. All atoms have electrons.
You'll never make one bulletproof, but you can armour a vehicle up to give it some resistance to small arms fire. Bullet resistant glass, kevlar panels in the deadspace between panels, additional steel or even applique armour are some of the methods used.
Car door panels may be made of a number of different materials. Most of these panels are made from metal or plastics.
lots of bits :D anything from an alloy engine to plastic body panels
The cost for automotive body panels will change in price based on the type of car you have. Some cars might cost more just because of how old it is or what the material is made up of.
Brass
after market body panels.
Vehicle body panels, hoses, belts, gaskets, tires, clutches, brake pads, & body armor for vehicles can all be made of Kevlar.
To protect the metal from rust on a steel car. On an aluminum, or carbon fiber car it is not necessary to paint the car. As an example all DeLorean's were not painted from the factory as the body panels were made of aluminum.
In batteries the plates are made of lead. Body panels are often made of the compounds steel or carbon fibre. Some manufacturers use body panels that are made from the element Aluminum.
Before robotics became widely used, the car had a frame that was tubular steel rails. The body components were sheets of metal that were pressed into the shape that was required and those sheets became body panels. The panels where then installed by hand.
The Saturn has plastic body panels. No cars are completely made of plastic.
not unless you have solar panels on your car...
It depends on the car, but mainly drivetrain parts(motor, accessories, transmission) suspension, rims and sometimes body panels, frames, interior trim.
