Since a volcano eruption happens and starts at one place, lava and pyroclastic flow has to flow outwards from the volcano, therefore making it easier for people to fun away from it like they're being chased. But an earthquake usually shakes a large area, destroying all the roads in the area, so it would take longer to leave the affected area, one of the reasons being the fact that roads are destroyed.
If people believe these myths, earthquakes may seem more frightening than they really are. During an earthquake, people need to stay calm, not run off worrying about these not true myths.
They should have safety kits: fire extinguisher to keep fire out first aid kit
I have survived the 1999 Turkish earthquake killing approximately 50,000. As far as I know, there is no way to reduce an earthquake but if you meant "reduce the damage an earthquake causes" then there are ways for that. You must know if you are located on or around a fault-line where two tectonic plates meet. These plates move the opposite directions and cause an elastic tension effect, when they come to a point where the tension is so high they snap and cause shaking which is the quake. When developing a city or a community, on or around a fault line make sure the building is good and safe with the standards for earthquake, make everyone aware that a possibility of an earthquake is there and make emergency plans. I never saw the Turkish earthquake coming, it hit everyone by surprise so buildings changed, people became more aware of earthquake safety after the quake but we could have avoided the 50,000 dead.
Earthquakes do not Break the surface of earth, its the tectonic plates rubbing against each other, the gap most people call an earthquake is the gap between 2 different tectonic plates, The tectonic plates move because they just kind of float on top of Hot Magma, its like trying to keep 2 boats beside each other on the water, they have to move because of the force of the undercurrent. I hope this answer has been of much use.
I doubt that either can be considered "easier to be safe from" than the other, it depends entirely on the magnitude of the event (i.e. amount of energy released).
cats have fur to keep themself clean and in the winter they keep themself warm if they do not have fur they go through peoples house looking for stuff

no,because the earthquake would keep on going no for a long time and many people may not survive

In the eruption of 1980 in Mt. St. Helen's, the evacuation routes were used to escape the lava flow and get to higher grounds.

Wear a dust mask
All that you can do is keep them from injuring themself from the act of going out. If they don't stop after one minute call 911
keep carm and just be grateful you are alive!
They tend to keep their goals to themselves, knowing if they fail only, leaving criticism to nobody else besodes themself. _________________ Alternate Answer: They tend to be successful. The question doesn't say that the people in question keep their goals to themselves. If you leave goals up in the air, almost certainly up in the air is where you'll end up.
Keep an emergency kit ready. When the earthquake strikes, stay under a table or a doorframe (sturdy structures-get the point?)
