Is drawing essential for an animator Can someone be an animator with weak drawing skills?
it doesn't matter if you cant draw or if you think you cant draw. but you can be an animator if you want o. Just follow your dreams. It involves rigging for movements, texture & mapping, lighting/compositing, special effects etc. However, to do a realistic 3D object, good observation skills or imagination are essential, which are the basis of good drawing skills anyway.

I think coloring a picture is ok (not sure though), but drawing pictures like faces and animals (basically anything that's living) is haram, but i don't think that drawing things like buildings ,clouds, trees etc is haram :) Hope that helped
