he enjoyed doing art, and expressing his feelings and thougths in them
Michelangelo loved to sculpt. Painting on the other hand, not so much.
it is a very good thing i guess..:) whoever asked this question is stupid:D
Leonardo was 23 years older than michelangelo so yes michelangelo came after da vinci, but they would have both been working around the same time and they even met!! (Da vinci didn't like michelangelo very much as he thought he was rude.)
katherinemarie : depends what aspect you're looking at... painting : Michelangelo inventions: Leonardo da Vinci anatomy: Michelangelo (he dissected dead bodys to learn more about the body) etc...
yes... they did know each otherIt is probable that they met in Rome, but neither of them mentioned it.
Most of Michelangelo's paintings usually concern religion, like most Renaissance painting and sculptures did, such as, The Statue of David, by Michelangelo, The Last Supper, by Leonardo Da Vinci, and the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, also by Michelangelo.Fun Fact: When Michelangelo painted the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, all of the faces of the people painted were people he had met, and knew fairly well. Strangely enough, he painted himself in Hell.
He invited him to join the school for sculptors he sponsored. He also had Michelangelo come and live in his house with the Medici family.

He may have been gay, although in Florence Italy, at the time it was known as "citta di note" or city of the night. the local powers organized a snitch box which citizens were able to drop names of persons along with supposed crimes. More than likely Leonardo was the target of a rival artist. They dropped his name in the box in hopes of eliminating competition. He was found innocent. He was a private man and we know only what and who he was by his writings and the writings of Vasari. We really do not know who Leonardo was intimate with.
There is no Michelangelo painting 'The Angel'. His famous 'Angel' sculpture is part of 'Arc of St Dominic' in Bologna, Italy.
Yes ,he would allow you to kiss him on the cheek if you met him.
Lorenzo de Medici was the patron of a school for talented sculptors located in the garden of his palazzo. When he met the young Michelangelo, he immediately saw talent in him ( in the occasion, Michelangelo showed Lorenzo a sculpture of a fawn, which is credited for being Michelangelo's first sculpture and is now lost). Upon realizing Michelangelo's talent, Lorenzo invited him to join the sculptors' school and also invited him to come live in his palazzo with his family. Lorenzo really took Michelangelo under his wing.
They were both renaissance artists and painted around the same time (Leonardo was 23 years older than Michelangelo but they did meet). They are both believed to have been homosexual and both were fascinated by the human body (especially the nude male) they both studied human bodies in close detail and would dissect dead bodies to study them (although this was illegal and had to be done in secret). They were both very intelligent and very good artists (and in michelangelo's case sculptor too). They both painted religious scenes...eg. Leonardo's the last supper and michelangelos Sistine chapel ceiling. They would have both admired each others works, although Leonardo disliked Michelangelo as a person when they met (Leonardo considered Michelangelo to be "rude"). So they had a lot in common. Their main differences was that Michelangelo was mainly a sculptor and Leonardo considered painting a higher profession than sculpting. In fact he once made a joke about how sculptors were always dusty and dirty which michelangelo was angry about. Also they had different personalities: Da Vinci loved to joke and was very sociable. However, Michelangelo is believe to have been a very lonely character who liked to work in solitude and had a foul temper and would often storm off. Also da Vinci loved nature and considered nature to be greater than human life and knew that we could never trully understand nature...however michelangelo saw nature as an obstacle that had to be overcome in his painting. I hope i helped.
Leonardo da Vinci lived during the fifteenth century. Mary Magdalene lived during the first century. So it is chronologically and physically impossible for them to have ever met, let alone have a relationship.
try sending a note though there door saying how you feel how they made you feel when you first met them.
