Do not watch 300. It is not a good historical reference. The Spartan military was very forceful and they developed it to prevent rebellions, and to prevent other countries from conquering them.

∙ 11y agoSpartas millitary really didn't leave any affect on todays armys. But they influnce us in a few ways. One of them is that training hard make stronger more fearless soliders. Also training let them get used to there weapons and know them better.
