Edit: It all depends on which type of recorder you're using. If you can't record directly to CD's, then I'll assume you aren't using a BR-1200 or BR-1600, since those units usually have CD burners built into them.
If you're using a standard BR-532, BR-864 or BR-900 without a CD burner, then you'll need to transfer the media from the Smart Card memory to your computer. To do this, you'll need a card reader. These are generally very inexpensive to buy, and some newer computers come with card readers built into the PC tower.
Secondly, you'll need to convert the .BR format to .WAV/AIF format so that it will be usable on your computer. You can download a free converter from the Boss website listed below in the 'Related Links' area.
After following these steps, you should then be able to burn your recordings directly to CD.
