when all tires are inflated properly, they each rotate at the same speed. there are sensors that monitor wheel speed and when one loses air pressure, it rotates at a slower speed at with the sensor then senses and sends that signal to the computer
look on the side wall of the tire for max psi that is the tire pressure
Driving on low tire pressure flexes the tire, causes overheating and can make the tire come off the rim on corners.
PSI is the abbreviation used to denote tire pressure. Tire pressure refers to how much air should be inflated into a car's tires.
what is the tyre pressure in a Renault cleo bebob
The correct tire pressure is listed on you driver's door post and in your owner's manual. The maximum you should put in your tires is 35psi cold.Note: The correct pressure for the vehicle is NOT listed on the side of the tire. The pressure listed on the tire is the maximum pressure the tire can handle. The same tire is installed on many different cars and the correct pressure may be different on each vehicle.
If your speaking of the tire pressure monitors, no.
You can purchase a tire pressure monitor from stores such as Auto Zone. Alternatively, you can purchase these monitors online from retailers such as Amazon.
Small wireless pressure monitors are attached to the vehicles original stock wheels ( including the spare ) and will alert the on board computer when they fall below the recommended psi range.
No, they are a convenience. Yes, on all vehicles in the USA smaller than a 3500 truck.
Its probably TPMS "Tire Pressure Monitoring System" It means the system that monitors your tire pressure is having issues. Check air in all your tires and if it doesn't go out have your Mech. check it out.

Late model XC90's can be equiped with Tire Pressure Monitors depending on the model year. The system will notify you of a low tire but will not tell you which tire is low.
A 2004 Does not have Tire pressure monitors. There for, as a tire shop manager, I would set your tires to 35 PSI. An easy number for both of us to remember and a good pressure for proper tire wear. Just keep air in your tires and you will save $$$ in the long run.
TPMS or Tire Pressure Monitoring System monitors the air pressure in your tires. I personally had the system recalibrated too many times. The light is supposed to come on when the tire pressure drops below a certain value. I prefer to use my vision, since the TPMS system doesn't work very well. Hope that helps! Jeffrey
There is no way a user can reset the tire pressure light manually except to make sure there is tire pressure above 25-26 lbs on all 5 tires. The tire pressure system also monitors the tire pressure in the spare tire. So after you have checked that all the tires on the car (pressure should be about 32 lbs check your driver side door sticker for specifics) make sure to check the air pressure in the spare and fill as needed. This should solve your problem and turn that annoying little light off.
It measures the tire pressure in pounds per square inch (psi).
If you've corrected the tire pressure, it will reset itself. If you had to replace one of the pressure monitors(inside the wheel), you're better off taking it in to the dealer. Some of your larger national chain tire dealers can reset them as well.
