In highschool, you'd have to study, and get good grades, in science and math classes. Same with college. Try to find a college with a good pre-med plan. There's usually a pre-med adviser that can help you on your way. He can even help you get into medical school! Which you'll need if you want to become a surgeon.

Just make sure you're not in it purely for the money. It takes several years to become a surgeon/doctor, so you really need to love your studies and your work.
