Well, my two friends got SS and I got HG but I would think they're both the same except on HG you find Growlithe, Latias and Kyogre and on SS you find Vulpix, Latios and Groudon. You find more but for example Ho-Oh is caught on HG at Lv45 you catch it on SS at Lv70 after being to Kanto :-)
