How do you catch latios on Pokemon SoulSilver?

Migrate six Pokemon from leaf green or any other Pokemon game on the game boy then go to route 221 and enter the catching show and it should be there but its a bit rare. You can also trade from a friend in soul silver or heart gold.
you cant catch latios in Pokemon diamond but you can migrate it from emerald

Okay. Ive done this so it works.

First u need 2 pokemon. 1 that knows block (Preferablly the Snorlax u catch outside digletts cave) and 1 that knows shockwave( pikachu or use a heart scale to make it remember)

1. Follow it continuosly, attacking it until it is in the red HP.

2. Use shockwave to parylize it so u can use block without it fleeing b4 u do

3. Use block the next time encounter it thrn throw some ultra/dusks then afew fast balls. ( i caught it using a fast ball.)

after you have beaten the elite 4 go to vermillion city in kanto and talk to everyone in the Pokemon fan club and walk out Steven (hoenn champion) will say that

latios (soul silver) or latias (heart gold) will be roaming kanto and johto.

use your poke-gear to find it
You catch Latios like you catch Entei and Raikou you look on your pokegear map IF

Stevan said that Latios has come to KANTO!!!! look at the KANTO part and you will find a Latios head andWALK to where he is but if you fly to where he is he will flee somewhere els. I have not caut Latios but I know how to get to him! :)

first you need the eginima stone which you can get over Nintendo Wifi. then go to the museum in kanto . you will see steven there. then head outside and talk to steven again. the soul dew will bring latias and then you can catch it.

After you talked to the guy with the pokedoll, a man named Steven will be outside. Talk to him, and you will have to start roaming around Kanto, looking for latios.
