Depending On which solenoid if it is a starter solenoid there is one on the inner fender and one on the starter the one on the inner fender is changed by disconnecting the battery then removing the wires making sure to know where they go when you put the new one on then unbolt it and bolt the new one in the same way in reverse if it is the one on the starter however your best bet is to replace the starter completely it is more ecconomical in the long term of your vehicle
