I would recommend downloading an app for the specific use of emoticons. I say Emoji is a good free app that allows you to use on everything (Such as Instagram,Social Networking apps, Notes,Messaging.) I would get the free version though because there is no difference with the full version. The free version allows you to have tons of emoticons at your fingertips. You have to set it as one of your keyboards, and when you go on instagram just hold the globe icon when your open your keyboard, and select Emoji.
