The way I use is to get a large picture of the character you want to draw, and draw over the main lines of the picture. It probably won't look EXACTLY like the picture, unless you're really good, (because it's 3-D) but it's better than nothing. Next, just trace it onto another piece of paper, and you're done! Another way is to search around on the net and find some more cartoony or anime pictures of them. Good luck! Hope this helped!
