HENNA or KOOL AID POWDER work. You can buy henna at Hobby Lobby or Michael's. Also, you can add enough water to Kool Aid Powder to make it pasty. NOT TOO LIQUIDY AND NOT TOO THICK. It needs to be thick enough to stay on your skin and not leak all over but not too think that it is hard to apply in desired places. Just add bits of water to the mix very slowly until its like this. im not sure how to remove hair dye off your skin but it can be prevented by rubbing vaseline on your skin around your hair line and ears. basically any where the hair dye might accidently go on while your dying it.
