How do you get a munchlax in Pokemon HeartGold?

Munchlax can be caught from honey trees. Slather honey on some trees, wait six and a half hours, and check back to see if there is a Pokemon. If Munchlax isn't there, just keep trying, and if that doesn't work, try slathering different trees.

Another way is to migrate a male and female Snorlax from Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed, or LeafGreen. Optionally, you can substitute a Ditto for one of the Snorlax. Let the female Snorlax (or Ditto, if you have it and a male Snorlax) hold a "Full Incense". Put both Pokemon in the day care, and run in circles until an egg shows up on the day care Poketch app. Go back to the day care and claim your Munchlax egg.

you can have munchlax by breeding two snorlax in the daycare(four island) in Pokemon leaf green/fire red.

Also you can take the snorlax you caught at them 2 places and if they are both male or both female put them in the day care with a ditto. The old guy will say they don't like each other but they will have an egg after you run around a while. That's how I got mine. plus the ditto will breed with any other Pokemon. like your starter or that eevee you get from that guy so you can get all the evoled forms. And if you already evolved it then if you breed it with ditto it will still hatch an eevee not the evolved form.
To get munchlax you hav to catch a snorlax and the get a ditto. Then go to 4 island give it to the daycare man and wait and get. Then get the egg. And wait un til it hatches it should be a munchlax.

You're right about the day care part, but the Snorlax needs to be holding a Full incense then the egg you receive will have a baby Munchlax in it :)

The above is wrong. Munchlax is the pre-evovles form of Snorlax. Catch the Snorlax and put it in the day care center with a ditto, they can be found all over Johto. Just run around a few moments and they should have an egg. Munchlax will hatch from that egg

You can't get one in LeafGreen. they don't show up in the pokedex until Diamond/pearl/Platinum. And in those you need to breed a Snorlax with a full incense attached to it.
