How do you get giritina in Pokemon HeartGold?

To gain access to Giratina, you must have beaten the Elite Four and obtained the National Pokedex. Go to Route 214 and search for the Spring Path. Follow the Spring Path to Sendoff Spring.Climb down the wall using Rock Climb and enter the Turnback Cave where Giratina could be found.

you get by going to route 214 stay on the right side and there is a path called spring path and at the end of spring path go inside the cave ( to get to the end of spring path you will need hm rock climb). go to the end of the cave and there should be either a poke ball or Girantina. if there's a poke ball get it and go through any cave and do the process all over again

You have to have a special event Arceus, first. With said Arcues, go to the Ruins of Alph and try to enter the Scientists' house. You will be warped to another far away place by Arceus. Using Arceus, you can revive either a Giritina, Palkia, or Dialga (all level one).

To get giratina in heartgold you need to of obtained an arceus threw special event, or just borrow it from a friend. Next take arceus to the ruins of Alph. Go over to the house on the east side and a guy will bump into you. ( Make sure Arceus is the 1st Pokemon in your team) He will then take you into the ruins where arceuses power will teleport you to another room. Go south and exit thr room and you will see a hiker guy. He will take you into his house where you will meet a girl called Cynthia. You will see one of those computers where you can store your Pokemon, put away every Pokemon except arceus. She will take you into the room where you previously were. She will then talk for a while. Do what she says. You will then get to pick either palkia, dialga or girratina. If you want girratina go and stand on the symbol to the north. ( I suggest girratina because he comes holding the griseous orb which can transform him into sky forme only at night) After that arceus will do his stuff and a level 1 girratina holding a griseous orb will be placed into your party. Now you have a very strong Pokemon which you should definetly try to level up. :)

You cant get Giratina in leafgreen!!! The only mode is to hack and that can delete your game and then you must begin at the start again!
