How do you get rid of Snorlax in heartgold?

First of all you need the pokeflute channel on the radio. if you don't you do this (based on Pokemon crystal) you go to cerulean and go in misty's gym, the generator is in the water. when you have the generator go to the plant and return it. then go talk to a guy in lavender tower, he'll give you a ticket. go to the guy in the station on the same floor and he'll give you the pokeflute channel. go to snorlax, go into the radio and switch it to the pokeflute channel and exit. snorlax will wake up. I suggest having a bunch of ultra balls since he's the only snorlax in the game (he 's holding leftovers). Hope I helped!

work your way over to lavender town through cerulean city, then go to the radio tower there...

receive the radio update, go to snorlax, go to the radio in your pokegear and point the dial to the top station on the wheel. this station is called 'poke Flute'... after playing the station, talk to the snorlax and either catch it or defeat it

go onto your pokegear's radio and go to the top, there should be a program called "pokeflute" go to snorlax and play it he should chalange yuh to a battel HAVE FUN :3

play the radio music channel on the pokegear when you are next to it, then just talk to it and you will battle it. either ko it or catch it and then you will get past.
