Well, if the door is bare aluminum a wire wheel is a quick and aggressive method. If you are stripping the whole door to repaint I recommend a wire wheel. It takes some time, but it does a good job. It also scuffs the surface so the new primer will hold better. The drill wheels don't work very well, for serious work use a 6" wheel in a angle grinder or a 10" wheel on a 1/4hp motor. (The latter is my personal favorite.)
If you do care about an existing finish, mechanical means probably won't help. I'd recommend going to the local hardware store and talking to the paint guy. He may have something that will take the primer off the old finish without too much damage. Remember, test it on a concealed area first!
To paint aluminum siding you must first use a primer on the surface so the exterior paint will adhease and not just flake off in a few months. These can be bought at Home Depot or Lowe's.
I would say if I had bid on painting this house when I painted it would have been around 1700-2000. That is because of so much brick and that is time consuming trimming in around to keep paint off bricks. If you want to know how much paint, it would take about 6 gallons plus primer for any bare spots and caulking around doors and windows.
Cement can wick moisture from outside that will cause your paint to peel off. Look for a primer that will seal it first, then paint it.
Doubtful. You would definitely be better off using a good latex based primer.
Tape off any areas you do want colored, i.e. window frames. Clean the aluminum with dish soap and water. Rinse with clean water and allow to dry, or dry by hand. Sand the aluminum with 120 grit until smooth using circular motions. Blow off debris and rerinse with water. Allow the aluminum to dry. Apply primer and allow at least 45 minutes to dry. Apply the first coat of stain and let dry. Apply a second coat and allow at least two hours to dry.

A good wood primer is all you need. Rustoleum is a great brand, but almost any other brand would work. Of course, you need to scrape off any loose paint first.

Try and get something to keep under the door and it should stop.

To remove closet doors, first, locate the hinges or tracks holding the doors in place. Unscrew the hinges or lift the doors off the tracks. Carefully remove the doors from the closet opening.
