first of all it depends on what kind of dresser you intend to use.....does it have drawers in front , and how are they situated....does it have legs and is elevated from the floor? The second thing to remember is the top. will you be putting tile on it.....or other water friendly surface on it. It will not take long to ruin a wood finish if you don't.
