There are usually 2 or 3 straps around the tank. You can remove the adjusting bolts and the straps will open. Make sure you have a floor jack or something else to support the tank when you remove the straps. Once the straps are off and the fill tube has been disconnected, lower the tank just a little so that you can get to the electrical and fuel line connections.
