It Depends On the Engine that you're working with.
On the 420A Engine then the Alternator is located behind the motor on the passenger side of the Engine bay. It can be seen just behind and below the plastic covering for the Timing Belt.
On a 4G63(Turbocharged Engine) Engine it is located up Front on the Drivers side of the Engine Bay. Facing the Fender on the Drivers side of the Vehicle look just to the Left of the Strut Tower and Down there you Will See it.
There is also the 4G64(Convertibles Only) Engine, But Located in the Same Spot as the 4G63 Engine.

∙ 10y agoA 97 Maxima can have these symptoms because of a bad alternator. If the alternator has low output there can be a ticking and eventually the engine will stop running.

I had a similar problem turns out the Alternator was bad.

There is no difference. Both the Neon and Eagle Talon ESI share the same 420A motor.
Yes they will, eagle talon headlights are interchangeable between 95-98 , 95-96 eclipse headlights are identical as well. 97-99 eclipse headlight are revision b and wont fit properly

is this a turbo model???... if so it has 450cc denso injectors
behind the radio, remove the plastic cover on the left of the center section to access it
