You just push in on the one side of the door and the other side opens up.
Suzuki Sidekick from 1989 - 1996, had an 11 Gallon Gas Tank. I had thought it was smaller, since when I was at the empty mark, could only put in about 9 Gallons, found out my Gage was off, and I had 2 gallons to spare!
i have an e230, had same problem when i first bought it looking for how to open everywhere, you just actually push on the gas door itself on the opposite side to where it opens, just with ur finger push on the latch door and make sure ur car is actually open or the latch door will be locked too
Look in the trunk- there ought to be an emergency release- you might have to pull the trunk's liner back a bit to access this cable with a tab attached to it.
I believe most of them open at 6am
This was answered on an episode of Mythbusters, you get better gas mileage with the AC on.

A geo tracker gas tank should work on a sidekick from the same year or body style.
To open the gas tank on a Suzuki Swift, first locate the fuel door release lever inside the vehicle, usually found on the driver's side near the floor or next to the seat. Pull the lever to unlock the fuel door. Then, exit the vehicle and gently push on the fuel door to open it. If your model has a fuel cap, unscrew it counterclockwise to access the gas tank.
It says 11 gallons on my owners manual.
no gas line in front, maybe the charcoal fuel recovery canister?

To siphon gas from a 1994 Suzuki Sidekick, you’ll need a siphon pump or a length of flexible tubing. Insert one end of the tubing into the gas tank, ensuring it reaches the fuel level, and place the other end into a suitable container. If using a siphon pump, follow the manufacturer's instructions to create suction and start the flow. Always take precautions to avoid spills and ensure you’re working in a well-ventilated area away from open flames.
