Yes, there is a manual to fix a Honda Accord window being off track. A person can obtain this maintenance manual, it is will give direction on how to fix the windows.
Read the Haynes Repair manual and it states to either use a special tool (looks like flat bar, forked at the end) or to put the crank in the down position, lift a clean shop rag up and directly behind the crank, and pull up until the clip snaps out. I tried this but still can't see where the clip is that is supposed to be behind the crank. Anyone else have suggestions??
You can manually roll up a power window by pulling on it. You can also remove the door panel and pull the window up.
windshield trim loose and Pontiac issued a bulletin for right side window trim.
Begin by removing the inside door panel of your Kia. Remove the window track retaining clips. Put the window back on the window track. Secure the window with new window track retaining clips.
Don't know, would like to know.
There is u- shaped flat peice of meltal and it's a window handle clip remover Auyo zone has thewm and they do now cost much! Good Luck!
How do you remove the manual window cranThere should be an Allen type set-screw in the base of the handle. It will be recessed, and you'll have to turn the crank to access it more easily. Remove the setscrew, and the handle slips off of the stud. If the window is down, and it begins to rain, you can roll the window up by holding it onto the stud, and turning, or you can use a small pair of vise grips. Just try not to damage the teeth on the stud.
Sure wish there was an answer to this one.
That should be the window defroster.
check the fuseor the plugin at the rear window or mabey a broken wire
Remove the door panel, then remove the plastic sheeting. Then you can gai access to the window tracking. Remove the two 10mm nuts, that hold the window glass to the upper track. Remove the glass from the door, and install the new one in the reverse procedure.
remove the door panel and the window crank (if manual windows) , if auto windows remove the piece behind the door handle and unclip it from the buttons unscrew all screws around the door panel with a regular screw driver once you have done all that u will see the speaker remove it with a star head screw driver
look up under the back window through the trunk and you will see them right there.
Trust me there is a clip it is a real cheap wire horseshoe shaped clip, the only way to remove this clip is you need to purchase a tool just for removing clips on window cranks.
you prolly need a new window motor... check a local junkyard.
I'd suggest picking up a Haynes or Chilton manual for your car. I'm pretty sure it will show you what you need to know about the window, to say nothing of being invaluable if you do much of your own repair work. FriPilot
