Put vinegar in a plate/bowl and put it in the room where the paint smell is and this will absorb the smell and get rid of the paint smell. Some people think the room will then stink of vinegar but both smells vanish so this works.

Place bowls of white distilled vinegar around the room to neutralize odours.

Lemon

Place lemon slices in bowls all over the newly painted room for a day or two and throw them out later to remove any unpleasant paint smells.

The best idea is to in the first place not to use turpentine-based paints. The smell exists because the turpentine in the wet paint has to evaporate from it in order to dry.

Water-based paint are just as good if not even better to use, it dries much quicker and water gives off no smell while evaporating. Besides, turpentine fumes can give you a nasty headache when you are painting in an insufficiently ventilated room. Many countries have even banned turpentine-based paint for professional house painters.
