Tools needed: Phillps screwdriver and #10mm Socket. Unscrew 5 screws that hold grill on. Unscrew the 2 screws that hold the headlight bezel on (underhood). Unscrew the 2 screws to the turn signal light. There is a bolt behind it you need to undo to remove the headlight. Unscrew the sidemarker light. It is on top in corner..and remove it by jiggling it forward. Using ratchet and#10mm socket, unbolt the remaining 3 bolts that hold the light assembly on.Pull gently towards you/out...but not to far as there are 2 plugs that must be unhooked first. Depress the center tab on each and they should unplug/slide off. There are 3 screws that hold a locking cover on that you need to remove to get to the bulb. Pay attention on how it is installed. Remove, replace with new bulb and use some bulb grease on connectors to keep moisture out. Plug the new lightbulb in and reinstall the light aseembly using one bolt to hold in place. Test headlight by turning key to 'on' and turn headlights on. If it works turn key off and continue doing the reverse as listed above. If not, check your connections. Good Luck. Oh...and while you're at it, you might as well replace the working side since you just did the majority of the labor. :)
Part # 9003. Careful not to touch new bulb. Open hood, locate rear of lamp. There is not much room behind the headlamp, but with patients it is doable. The wiring connection should pull straight back. Wiggle as you pull on plug, not wires. Remove rubber boot. There is a string clip holding the old bulb in place, similar to a safety pin. It is clipped near the bottom of the bulb and should be visible and self-explanitory with a flashlight. Once the pin is released the bulb should easily come out.
Carefully open new bulb, if you happen to touch it with your fingers the oil from your fingers will lead to premature bulb failure. No kidding. If you do touch it, clean it with rubbing alcohol. The bulb has three tabs and can only fit in one way, kind of like and upside-down Y. Once you have the bulb properly position it will not rock or turn. Refasten the spring clip. Replace boot, careful to seal the outer edge back in place all the way around and the inner edge around base of the lamp. Plug wiring harness back in place, be sure to seat completely on bulb. Check out your new bulb.
Take Care
Look at page 321 of your owners manual. It has a complete description along with pictures.

See answers already posted to "How do you change oil on a 2004 Toyota Solara," "How do you change oil on a 2006 Toyota Solara," "How do you change oil on a 2007 Solara." They're the same as the '08. The short answer is, oil changes are the same on almost all vehicles. 1. Place a suitable container (5 quarts or more for the Solara) under the car. 2. Remove the drain plug and let the oil empty into it. 3. Replace the drain plug and move the container until it's under the filter 4. Spin the filter off (in the case of the Solara it's wise to place rags or paper towels under the filter to prevent a mess on the floor) 5. Replace filter 6. Add five quarts of oil 7. Start engine, check for leaks 8. Reset maintenance light. Cheers

how to replace spark plugs on 2006 camry LE
This probably isn't what you wanted to hear but you have to remove the headlight housing to change the turn signal bulb. 1. Remove the front bumper cover (necessary to reach the bottom bolt) 2. Detach the housing by pulling it forward. Careful, they're expensive to replace if you drop them. 3. Replace Bulb 4. Reassemble in reverse order One step I don't recall, you might have to remove the high and low beam headlight bulbs before pulling the housing out. If you don't know how to remove the bumper cover I'd strongly suggest you buy a maintenance manual. The Chilton Camry/Solara manual is under $25 at Amazon. Or download the factory service manual from Toyota's website for about $10. Cheers
