The fuel pump is located in the gas tank. Remove the rear seat bottom by lifting on the front edge of the seat. There is an access panel that removes with three screws. Once the panel is off, you will see the top of the fuel pump assembly. Disconnect the wire harness and remove the bolts that hold the pump in (about 10). Gently remove the fuel pump assembly, and gently install the new one. Reverse the directions for removing the pump to complete installation of the new one.

∙ 14y agoYou must remove gas tank, then remove sending unit from gas tank and fuel pump is located in sending unit. Ensure gas filter is not clogged before performing this job.
