Open up the hood, Locate on top of headlight housing 3 flat head screws, place in a triangle patterned. remove all 3 and then using little flat handle slide out headlight housing. Some cars will have clips holding the socket in. Twist the socket a quarter turn counter clockwise, and pull out the socket. Grab the bulb, and pull it straight out. To replace the new bulb, never touch it with your bare fingers, as this will greatly shorten the bulb's life, if it even work's at all. Use a tissue or something else in that order to handle the new bulb. Push the new bulb into the socket, put the socket back into the housing, and twist a quarter turn clockwise to secure the socket into the fixture slide unit back into place, line up screw holes and replace screws tightly. I always like to test the bulb before I put everything back in securely.

On Grand Caravan 2000: 1) open the hood 2) on Top of the headlights there are about 3 screws that needs to be remove 3) After this the hole front piece where the head light and the directional light are will come out and give you access to the headlights to be changed.

Well on my 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan I just replaced the driver side head light by 1. opening the hood. 2. Twisting the shroud around the plug behind the lamp. 3. The shroud pull out along with the plug. 4. Unplugged the old light 5. Plug in the new light. 6. Stick the shroud and plug back in there and give it a twist. No tools needed. Took about 5 minutes. Now that I know how I could do it in 1.

Reach inside the engine compartment, directly behind the headlight, there's a plastic black cylinder where the three color-coded wires go in, turn it counter clock wise a quarter of a turn and it will unlock, slowly extract the headlight and pull it from the base. Avoid direct contact with the light bulb. To install a new one, follow steps backwards Also, be sure not to touch the bulb at all with your fingers or you could be changing the bulb again in as little as a week.

Headlight is a sealed beam, you have to replace the whole light. Easy job.

To remove, make sure you take the headlamp bezel off (2 screws above the headlight itself). You'll then see a metal bracket held in place by 4 Phillips (x-type) screws. You will also see 2 star (*) screws; these are beam adjustment screws and you probably won't need to touch these. However, if you need to adjust the headlamps after completed installation, please be careful not to strip or remove them.

Once the bracket is off, pull the headlight toward you and disconnect the plug. Replace the headlight, making sure that the middle prong of the connector is on top.

Replace the bracket and the bezel, and you're set.

Open the hood to your 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 engine compartment. Take hold of the headlight connector. Push the connector in and turn at the same time. Do the same with the headlight bulb. Reverse the process to install the new lightbulb.

1.) Open the hood of your van 2.) On the passenger side of the vehicle, look behind the headlight enclosure. You will see a set of wires running into the back of it. This is the power clip. Either with your hand or a flat-head screwdriver, pop the power clip off. 3.) There is a plastic ring encasing the light bulb. Turn the ring counter-clockwise and pull it out of the socket and set it aside. 4.) Pull firmly on the light bulb to remove it. 5.) Place the new light bulb into the same opening. Be careful not to touch the glass part of the new bulb. The oils in your skin can substantially reduce the life of the new bulb. 6.) Replace the plastic ring and turn it clockwise to lock it in place. 7.) Reattach the power clip to the back of the bulb. Repeat this process on the driver's side of the vehicle. Special Note: Replacing the bulb on the drivers side is a bit more difficult as it has more obstacles in the way.

1) open the hood. 2) Carefully remove the three screws holding the headlight assembly in place. In my case the screws were black. Be careful as they are screwed into plastic. 3) Carefully slide the headlight assembly out. At this point you can replace the headlight bulb, turn signal bulb, or the entire headlight assembly. To replace the headlight bulb turn the collar holding the bulb in counter clockwise. Pull the bulb out of the headlight assembly. Replace the bulb. Insert the bulb into the headlight assembly insert the collar and turn clockwise until it locks. 4) Carefully insert the headlight assembly back into place. 5) Replace the three screws removed in step 2 being carefull not to over tighten.
