∙ 13y agothe turn signal flasher is a part of the hazard lights as well. It is under the steering wheel and is the largest flasher in the cluster. You do not need to remove any other parts, plates etc to get to this it sticks out about three inches.

∙ 9y agoAlmost all cars have the turn signal flasher and the emergency (hazard) flasher mounted in clips under the dash near the steering column. The easiest way to find one is to turn on the signals or hazards and listen for the click. You will know when you find it because you can also feel the click when you touch it. If the flasher isn't working or does not click, turn on the other flasher and find it. The other isn't far away.

∙ 13y ago1999 Ford Windstar turn signal bulb replacement: Purchase the correct replacement bulb(s) first, before disassembling the vehicle. See sources and related links below for replacement bulb information. Then consult your owner's manual for the replacement procedure. As simple as it sounds, the owner's manual is the best place to start for bulb replacement instructions and illustrations. You may want to consider replacing both left and right at the same time in order to keep brightness and color equal (optional).

∙ 15y agoThe turn signal flasher and the emergency flasher are both located behind the lower panel under the dash. They are placed aprox below the radio. The lower dash panel must be removed. I would recomend replacing both flashers while your in there.

On 2000 Dakota Sport you lower the tailgate and there are 2 Phillips head screws that you remove and the whole tail light module comes out. You can then remove the bulb socket and replace the bulb. On my 2002 Dakota Quad Cab there are 2 torx screws.
