The top four bolts can just be undone with a torx bit. The bottom four are backed up with nuts on inside of the vehicle. You have to get up under the dash and scrape a bunch of putty crap off of them to get a wrench on. After you get the wrench on they can be undone just like the other ones. It would probably be a good idea to take a die to the bolts and a tap to the nuts before putting them back on to facilitate them going back to together. It is much easier to do with the dash partially removed but that is your choice.
Yes there is. On the 1987 thru 1995 models the switch is located on the left side of the steering column. Its multi function controling the wiper/washer, turn signal and dimmer switch.
try haveing the relay/solinoid checked. mostly i think you may need to replace the relay. the relay clicking usually is a sign its dieing.

87 thru 95 will work on your jeep, they are all YJ's
Yes. The YJ Jeep Wranglers (square headlights) were made 87- 95 - there was no 96 as the TJ was introduced as an early model 1997 in the Spring. The windshields in all YJ from 87-95 are the same.
No, the hinges are different
Jeep YJ doors can be removed by taking the nuts off the bottoms of the door hinges. in 1987, it was a Jeep YJ. In 1997 the TJ model came out. Jeep YJ doors can be removed by taking the nuts off the bottoms of the door hinges. in 1987, it was a Jeep YJ. In 1997 the TJ model came out.
That should be 87-95
Should be good, but check the door hinges, Jeep made a change from the CJ to YJ.
It certainly will. Go for it!
Not usually, they changed the way the door hinges work when the change to TJ was made.
FIRST OFF A 2004 IS NOT A YJ. JEEP WRANGLERS THRU 87-95 ARE YJ MODELS IN 96 THEY TOOK A BREAK AND IN 97 THEY CAME OUT WITH THE TJ MODEL. SO YOUR 2004 SOFT TOP WILL NOT FIT A YJ.
No, I think you will find that the hinges are going to be different, but the overall shape and size of the doors are the same.
I think you will find that the hinges will not match up, it was one of the changes from YJ to TJ
YJ body type and all parts are interchangeable, 87 thru 95 are all YJ.
