I just replaced the vent window latch, mine was broke, if this your problem, there is a key (pin) that has to be punched out and slide the handle off carefully, and unscrew the outside off to replace

Sometimes with some windows you can pull up on the glass and it will raise a quarter of an inch. Hit the button and the motor will run that much. Do this again until the window is up. If that doesn't work, you can take the door panel off and take the window loose from the regulator. There should be two bolts holding the window to the regulator. Slide the glass up and block it up or tape it.
OK, most cars its really easy, just a few steps you have to go through. FIRST, if you are replacing a window odds are the old one is broken, so take off your door panel (usually a screw on the door handle surround, its kinda hard to see sometimes), and the if you have roll up windows take a rag and point the window handle down, and stick the rag under the handle base and wiggle it in a U pattern and it will snag the little clip holding the hanlde. SECOND, Once you have you the door panel off peel back the plastic(its a plastic sheet, keeps the water out) once you get it out take a vacuum and get out all the broken glass out of it, and take a flathead screw driver and get the glass chunks out of the window channels. THIRD, once you have all the old glass out, roll down the window and look for a bar that goes horizontal(it typically has 2 bolts on it and will have the rest of the glass attached to it) and take that off and trash it(keep the bolts). FOURTH, grab the new window and put it into the channel with the smaller end down(front) and kinda work it into place. once into place guide it down and line up that horizontal bar, and bolt it in place. FIFTH, test it out and if all is good put it all back together. DONE!!!!
I have a 93 Jeep GC. You can put the window back on track but it will certainly come off again. You need a window regulator/actuator. Ive done a lot of research on the web and it seems that most jeeps are having the same issues with the windows. The part is pretty expensive. Someone told me you can use the rollers offf of a sliding screen door instead
This is not as easy as it looks. i suggest you take it to an auto trim shop.
Take Me to the Other Side was created in 1988-07.
Take it to a garage. This is a big job.
first take out the door panel. Then your going to see two rollers Take the window gently off the rollers then pull window out repeat to install.
Take off your door panel and there is four bolts i believe remove them and it come s off pretty easy.
It depends on the model to take them off or fold the window down just undo all bolds and take the top off. To fold eather on the side is one black bolt or yj its three each side. Inside above the speaker
Take door panel off. and put window back on track.
Take it to a custom car shop.
take it 2 a garage
Take out the glove-box, the computer is located on the right side of the glove box.
take it to a glass shop, it requires special glue.
Take of the doors inside panel then the window should come out but watch incase it slips out as it could easily smash!
u can just kick it out but itsnot the best way
