Turn off iginition and try to start. Jon

Let it set it should start. If not your vehicle is equiped with an anti-theft system, it may be malfunctioning. The Passlock Anti-Theft on all GM vehicles will disable the fuel injectors if it thinks the vehicle is being stolen. This could hapen if you changed keys or the sensor in the ignition cylinder is bad. This would give you the same effect as if the vehicle was flooded. It might start for a few seconds, then die. Try the reset method below. Reset Method or the Passlock 2 system, put the key in the ignition and turn the engine over (the car should not start, if it did you are done), turn the key to the ON position, let it set for 10 fmin. The security light should be flashing. After 10 min. the security light should stop flashing the car is ready to learn the new key value. Turn the key off, wait 5 seconds, and then try to start the car.
It could be the key if the security or anti-theft light is flashing. If it is flashing than either the key is not sending a signal or the lock cylinder PK3 receiver is not receiving a signal.
Once you get the key with the correct chip in it for your car, just turn the ignition on and leave it on until the security light quits flashing, it will take several minutes, then turn the key off and start car
is your security light flashing? turn the key on, leave on for 10 mins, turn key off let it sit for 2 mins, start car
dose the car turn over or nothing at all when you turn the key
put key in ignition, turn to on position, reach down to flashing light button and hold down until light is a steady red.
For the Passlock 2 system, put the key in the ignition and turn the engine over (the car should not start, if it did you are done), turn the key to the ON position, let it set for 10 min. The security light should be flashing. After 10 min. the security light should stop flashing the car is ready to learn the new key value. Turn the key off, wait 5 seconds, and then try to start the car.
put key in lock and turn to open position 3 times, red light on door should turn on (constant),take key out of door, press and hold down open button on key fob while doing this press the close button 3 times then light on door should start flashing wait a few seconds for light to stop flashing then press any button on key fob to see if it works.good luck
Turn the key to "on" and let it sit for approx 10 minutes until the 'security' light stops flashing. Turn to off and start as normal.
AS MY WIFE SAYS : TURN ON THE IGNITION KEY (DO NOT START THE ENGINE) PRESS 3 TIMES THE GAS PEDAL THEN YOU WILL SEE THAT THE CHANGE OIL LIGHT STARTS FLASHING THEN TURN OFF THE IGNITION KEY.
It is likely that your battery is dead.
if you have lights and it swont start, you can look on dash and see if your security light is flashing. If so turn your key to the on position and leave it their for 10 min. or until it stops flashing. then you should be able to turn of the key and then try to start car like normal.
Turn the ignition key till the lights come up on the dashboard (don't start the engine) now press down on the millage reset button in the dashboard - count for about 15secs or so and you should notice the flashing spanner has disappeared and the milage count seems to have turned to 20000 - thats it release your hold from the button and either turn the key to full ignition to turn the engine on if you need to go or off. The serv sign should be gone as well as the flashing spanner. When you restart the engine the milage count of 20000 will be zero until it technically re-counts the original milage and that reappears after a little time.
