I assume you refer to the change using a light bulb into using energy-saving bulbs.
In general, people just do not like changes. Most people like to resort to the old ways, every time possible. That is just part of human nature.
Forcing people to change their old way may resort in some sort of anxiety, even mutiny of sorts.
Also, at least for now, energy-saving bulbs are more expensive than regular light bulbs, which also causes irritation on some people. And they are an environment hazard too. The jury is still out on which is worse, the pollution from creating energy to be used by old bulbs or the toxins in the energy-saving bulbs.

endangered, threatened, extinct speciesglobal warming/climate change (climate change is the more correct term)light pollution, meaning at night you can't see into space because of too much light from earth(not harmful, but negative for astronomers and astrologists)
If it is a black and white negative, more light will pass through the lighter part. Since this is a reversal process, the light parts of the negative will be more exposed and produce a dark image.
It helped people see better at night and to get to work at night. Unlike candlelight, the newer light didn't hurt people's eyes as much. it was a new invention that helped the world.
The main problem with Thomas Edison inventing the light bulb is that he did not have enough filament, so he used a different material to replace it.

Uses more energy and power.

A flashing light bulb signifies energy inefficiency and can have a negative environmental impact due to the wasted energy and increased carbon emissions associated with frequent on-off cycles.
It enabled people to work longer hours
it helps people see their surroundings
Eight people are more than enough to change a light bulb. Usually one person is needed.
Phototropism is the word for it when plants grow towards/away from a source of light. There's actually positive and negative ways of phototropism: If the phototropism is positive it grows towards the light, and if the phototropism is negative, it grows in the direction away from the light.
He made it possible for people to travle at the speed of light
A photograph turns black in light negative. In a photographic negative, the areas that receive more light appear black when the negative is converted to a positive image.
Things change and people change. The closer you get to people you begin to see them in a different light.
Shadows change due to the movement of the light source or the object blocking the light. As the position of either the object or the light source shifts, the size, shape, and direction of the shadow will also change. This change occurs because shadows are created when an object blocks light, so any alterations in the light source or object will impact the resulting shadow.
