Whether it be TV, Theatre, Cinema the people at the very top of these 'entertainment shows' (ie, the bosses) have had to adapt to what changes have happened in the times. Sex, Drugs, and (in my opinion) bloomin good music. The perception young people have of what is good/cool for viewing has vastly gone down hill. To see people shouting, swearing, sex scenes that would give even the strongest hearted old dears a coronary, is what they long for. In a way i feel some people watch these shows/films to make themselves feel better. Surely nothing could beat a good hour of Big Brother, where you've seen more flesh than Hugh Hefner has in a lifetime, and heard how one paragraph of speech can be made up of 98% cursing. The big bosses have to make money, and sadly enough sex sells. 'Shameless' , a family living off benefits, full of drugs and alcohol, but in the end you always see how they pull together as a family, and the love and care they have for each other, and you do get that warm feeling inside. Out is the family game shows(and winning a speed boat) and In is the slaggin match between two women after they've had to endure the others husband and kids. People want to see real life. Be it disturbing to watch or not. I am 19 and even im scared where the entertainment today is going.
