In the past, it was reccomended to let your treated deck "weather" for one year before staining it. Currently, there are some stains available that state you are able to apply it immediately. Personally, I would prefer to let it dry for awhile to ensure maximum absorbsion. Make sure to purchase a medium to high grade stain and follow the directions to a " T " for professional looking results.
