A average sprinkler will apply about one inch of water per hour. New grass should need about one half hour of watering. If it is puddling shorten the time, too dry, increase a little. Do it early in the morning to avoid burning from the sun and evening watering will invite mold. Water daily until established. Hope this helps.

New water comes from under the crust of the Earth. It escapes mainly through hydrothermal vents in the sea floor. ------------------------------------------------ There is a water cycle on earth that takes wet sediments deep into the mantle to be re heated and circulated back up as new sea floor. This is where the water in hydrothermal vents originates - it is NOT new water. However, there remains a possibility that some of the water emerging from the mantle has been there since the formation of the earth so some of it MAY be 'new'.

Water everyday if it has not been watered naturally and cut everyday - if possible.
Jamur grass does not require a lot of water to thrive. About an inch of water a week is enough of water for the grass to grow healthy. If the grass is new or sod, the care for the grass the first two weeks requires the soil to stay moist to enable the roots to grow deep.
As long as the water temperature of the new water is the same as the old water, it is ok after about 5 minutes.
Long enough to moisten the entire surface of the seeded area, but not long enough that the water will run off in little rivulets. As often as necessary to prevent more than 50% of the surface from drying out. Follow these guidelines for about ten days, until the grass has sprouted and grown to an inch in height. Thereafter, water about an inch, once per week except in extremely hot, dry, windy weather, when you should water about 3/4 inch twice per week.

If you would like to start new grass, you can seed or sod your lawn. There are many different types of grass seed to choose from. Heavily seed your lawn, then water consistently until it begins to grow.

The grass dance is one that was used when the people were creating a new settlement on the long grass of the plains. Through this dance, the grass was flattened so that they could more easily place their lodges without doing long lasting damage to the earth. It is a beautiful dance!
Most rye grass dies in the spring unless it has been growing long enough to seed itself. The dead grass can be left to rot, where it acts like fertilizer, unless it is matted into clumps that should be removed to allow a new growth underneath.
Snivy (Grass), Tepig (Fire) and Oshawott (Water).
Moisture first ignites the growing process. Nutrients from the dirt in the ground or chemical additives are absorbed by water in the area of the new roots and by capillary action moved up into the new growing grass to produce more growth. Water is the blood of plants. After some growing period - grass and plant are able to extract moisture form the ground by themselves.
