That car should get 16 to 18 mpg.
All Dodge Darts are A Bodies.
not as far as I know.
off blue if I remember right.
I believe it was a 7.5
between 3,000 and 3,200 Lbs.
8 cylinder 290 hp
Assuming you mean 426 Hemi engine, expect 8-10 MPG (on a good day)
Depends on the engine, trans and diferential gearing The 318 gave low 20s The 426 HEmi around 6 mpg
I had a 1970 Malibu for 23 years and it got 17 to 19 miles per gallon. I still have a 1970 Chevelle SS396 Convertible that gets 9 to 11 miles per gallon.
The Charger had 5 different 8 cylinder engines available in 1970, gonna have to be a bit more specific
well it depends on the model and engine because the r/t was 15 mpg and then the had the t/a witch was only made for 1970 and that one got 12 mpgon high way speeds
#1 is the first plug closest to the radiator on the drivers side.
To remove the ignition lock cylinder on a 1970 Dodge Challenger, first disconnect the battery to ensure safety. Next, remove the steering wheel and the steering column cover to access the ignition switch. Insert the key and turn it to the "Run" position, then locate and press the release tab on the ignition cylinder. Pull the cylinder out gently to complete the removal.
No actual data exists to answer this, but rest assured a 6 cylinder in a 70 Challenger is very rare.
Mine did until I replaced the carb. with an 1970 carter single brl. then i get more power and 16-20 mpg.
that all depends on what engine you have in it, a 6 cylinder or a v8, need more information.
has to be worth a lot since they never made a 70 charger with a 4 cyl.
