I would properly say that they're would only be a couple of people still homeless from the 2010 earthquake. Most people might of already gotten their homes back because of all the kind people donating money to them.

What time was the earthquake in haiti?

It depends on your connotation of "earthquake." If by earthquake you mean just the period when the earth's motion can be traced to a specific event, the Hatian earthquake lasted about 45 seconds. If however, you mean the period between when the earth's motion caused damage and when that damage is no longer felt in the live of the all people affected by it, the earthquake is still ongoing. Many Hatian people live in tents away from cities and are out of work. Many have had their homes completely desroyed while others have homes still standing with damage and the owners fear if they return another earthquake will cause a collapse.

How is Haiti doing since the earthquake?

I recently returned from Haiti this month and its recovery is a dichotomy of good and bad. The people are resilient as ever and are desperately seeking a way out of the misery created before and after the earthquake. But the country is in a permanent state of disrepair. Many of the roads still have earthquake cracks, houses have not been rebuilt, the majority of the people are still living in tent cities that are sprawled over the city, even the capitol building which was destroyed on Jan. 12, looks the same as the day the earthquake occurred. Small businesses have opened but there's hardly any official services, no water, electricity even mail is sporadic but there's plenty of security and flights are going in and out. For more information about Haiti and live updates on the rebuilding efforts go to the link provided below.

How many people died in haiti earthquake?

The prime minister estimated that 316,000 had been killed on the 1 year anniversary of the earthquake. International sources still estimate somewhat fewer. It has been extremely difficult to make these estimates due to the lack of centralized system for reporting in Haiti, as well as the way bodies were disposed of in the aftermath. Many bodies were quickly buried or even thrown in dumpsters and never counted. The exact number - and perhaps even a good estimate - will never be known.4568686
