Pressure washing costs are like any other, as much as the customers are willing to pay. The equipment ranges in cost from $69.00 and tax to over $600.00. The cost of using the equipment involves access to water ( usually a garden hose ) or transporting it ( see water weight per gallon or consider a gallon of ice cream ) on a trailer. The largest costs are those of labor, advertising, local licensing, insurance, transportation, and usual business expense ( building lease, utilities, administrative ).

I have heard of people paying as little as $300.00 for cleaning a small house using their own water supply, and $6,000.00 for larger jobs involving a little 'windex' and cleaning rags plus scaffolding to safely work above shoulder level. Don't forget that hard water can leave small white 'circle' marks on windows, and a 'squeegee' always leaves a little bit of a line. If you do it yourself, think about ladder safety on wet ground. Pressure washing services cost vary not only from region to region but moreso in the type of service performed. Flat concrete cleaning is done with hot water and what's called a surface cleaner. This can be a very quick and efficient process and warrants $.03 per s.f for very large projects (over 100,000 s.f.) up to $.30 per s.f for residential driveways. House washes vary from $.10 per s.f. to $.35 per s.f. depending upon the type of substrate (vinyl siding, brick, stucco), the difficulty of height and surrounding landscape and the level of service performed. Deck cleaning is a different beast. Sometimes there is just gray wood that needs to be removed. Other times mold and/or previous stains and sealers need to be removed. These jobs can range from $.50 per s.f to $2.00 per s.f and higher.
