In NSW You must be 16 with parental consent or over the age of 18.
In VIC You can not get a tattoo regardless of parents consenting until you are 18 or over.
In QLD You must also be over 18 regardless of parents consent.
In NT You are not restricted by age it depends on whether the tattoo artist deems you mature enough or not.
In ACT You must be over 18 or have parents consent.
In WA You may get a tattoo under 18 with parents consent.
In SA You must be over 18 but this may be changing soon.
In TAS You are also not restricted by age, but must be able to give valid consent.
Note: Where it says you will require parents consent this is normally in the form of them coming with you to get the tattoo, or written consent stating the type and location of the tattoo.
