Very good question!!!! Ask your surgeon if he plans on using an anti-coagulant during your surgery, if he says yes you really should wait at least 6 months, to avoid profuse bleeding....Other than that it's pretty much up to you when you get it but I would wait at least a month or even two...Hope this helps
I would wait till any surgery is totally healed if the tattoo is going over the scar it should not be applied for a couple years. Best to check with you doc
I have the same question, and would love an answer. As a tattoo artist I would suggest not getting any tattoo work till the surgery is totally healed . The more you body has to heal up at the same time the harder it is on your system , there is also more of a chance of infection because your body is at a vulnerable state. A few month after the surgery is healed would be my suggestion
You should not get any tattoo work done soon after a major surgery, or after experiencing anything that has caused trauma to your body. Your body needs time to recuperate, and does not need to have to focus on healing a tattoo (which is essentially a wound) in addition to recovering from surgery or any kind of injury. The longer you wait to get a tattoo after your valve replacement, the better.
You will not get chlamydia from getting a tattoo.
18 so you aren't getting a tattoo any time soon.
I'm going to get a tattoo that looks like im having open heart surgery but instead of seeing my heart there will be a speaker. to me this is just a way to show how i love music. particularly car audio and that's why I'm getting a speaker tattoo.
A person needs to wait for at least 6 or 8 weeks after surgery before getting a tattoo. The person getting the tattoo will need to speak to their doctor before getting the tattoo after surgery to make sure they are healthy enough.

Miley Cyrus has 9 tattoos already. She hasn't announced any plans for her next tattoo, but at the rate she's been adding ink, it's likely that she'll be getting another tattoo soon.
you have to get surgery
Yes she does...... She has a butterfly tattoo on her neck, a butterfly tattoo on her waste, and a clover on the back of her neck. She said she might be getting another one soon!
