How to work with a band?

Meet some fellow musicians that like the same music as you and start to practice together.

Basic Components of a rock band:

Lead singer

Lead guitar

Rhythm guitar

Bass

Drummer

(one member can do multiple things)

Anyone can form a band if the people in the band can play an instrument. Put up some flyers or put an ad in the paper. Audition people to get the different instruments that you want in your band.

Depending on how big the band is, you have one of four options:

A) If there local, or if your friends with them, just ask them.

B) If there a bigger artist, try and share your music with them. Myspace or contacting their Agent usually works best

C) Some festivals will offer a battle of the bands type thing, offering a spot on the tour, or at least the show in the closest stop to you.

D) Get signed. This is the hardest of them, but if your signed, it's inevitable, you will tour with bands, and you might even open up for some that your particularly fond of

Quite frankly, if option A isn't available, it's not easy. But being aggressive has never hurt. Don't come across as a bag of dicks, but don't just let things come and go. Be aggressive, get your name out there, get a loyal fan base nation wide, and the rest will come.

its hard enough the whole band must be in sync the closer the friends usually the easier it is creating songs is an easier matter basically everyone like home work writes a song and a tune to it and the faorite is chosen .hope i helped
