Try slapping the fuel tank, maybe the pump is gone. also bad for fuel line poppet valves under intakes. These vans will only run on a certain fuel pressure! Any lower and you can have problems. get it checked out fuel pump is in gas tank. To fix the fuel pump, the tank has to be removed (no smoking) ,so some diy mechanics cut a hole in the top above the fuel pump ,so the next time it will be easy.
check for spark
If you are getting fuel and it will not start you have no spark.
there are 2 main reasons 1 the engine is not getting enought petrol 2 spark engine is not getting spark this is probley the cause the main thing that goes wrog with the spark is the ht coil replace this and the spark plug and your engine should start
check ur distibutor cap and rotor bug pull a spark plug see if its getting fire then make sure ur getting fuel to the carb
have you replaced and or tested both coils? are you getting no spark on the intake and the exaust sides?
ignition module failure or ecm failure.
check to see if it's still in time and have the compression checked, if these four are correct it has to run. time, fuel compression and spark. hope it helps

I would replace the ignetion module that is in the distributor.
Electrical... try plug wires
make sure its not getting to much fuel and check the timeing/and if the wires are in the right order
is it getting gas ? do you have spark?
Is it getting gas? Spark? Did you pump the gas pedal while you were starting/cranking the motor?
