We can make a rough estimate by looking at the moon. The coldest parts of the moon are always in the shade (near the poles inside craters), and are about -240 degrees Centigrade, or -400 Fahrenheit. If the earth had no sunlight, it might approach this temperature, but there are some other factors that would make the earth's temperature in darkness higher than the moon's.
The molten core of the earth releases its own heat energy, and the atmosphere would help to trap that energy and keep the surface warmer than the -240C on the moon. Of course given enough time this heat would eventually escape, the core would freeze, and the earths temperature would drop to close to -240 C.
The atmosphere may also become liquid at that temperature, but only near the surface of the earth at the correct pressures.

because 1 part of the world is full of sun most of the time when some does not get a lot of sun
Most likely 100 minutesNot very long at all. The sun can damage your retina within seconds of direct exposure. It is nowhere near 100 minutes. It takes 20 seconds looking directly at the sun before you start to go blind, and 30 seconds before at least 1 eye is blind.
Because when the volcano erupts it lets all the hot volcanic acid and lava out of the ground making the earth's surface cooler.
The moon like Earth is basically a globe or ball. it is cold except for the changes in temperature on the surface caused by the sun.
It would be WAY to hot.
no the sun doesn't get cold because the sun is always so hot . if the sun is cold why then people cant go in sun. sun never get cold.
Our entire solar system would be 100 times as cold as Antarctica!
No, it would be too cold.
Pluto can be really cold, because it was really far away from the sun! It can be about -256 Celsius and more! But the sun is big, so you could still see it, but its so small when looking at it.
No. The Sun is never cold it is always hot.
The temperatures in the asteroid belt can vary greatly depending on the distance from the Sun. On average, temperatures can range from about -100 degrees Celsius in the outer regions to around 200 degrees Celsius in the inner regions. Overall, it is not as hot as some other regions of the solar system due to the distance from the Sun.
Canada's climate is quite varied, although the word cold will often be used, or subpolar.
Yes they could have done when the sun was setting behind them or when the sun had not yet risen, it would depend where the mountains were.
The Sun can get to 2,586
The Cold Heart of the Sun was created in 2007.
You could find out their distances from the Sun. Then for each 100 million km you could call it 100 millimeters instead.
It could take over 200 million years to do so.
