That is a tough question. Umm... no. You would never know unless you knew every store in the world. And their are probably other stores that have lower prices, such as Serrendipity that only sell their items for $1 each. It depends on where you live. I grew up in a town of about 15,000 with no chain grocery stores. However we did have a mall with stores such as JC Penney, Target, and K-Mart. For groceries it was Walmart hands down. For everything else it was a toss-up. I now live in the Seattle area with major grocery chains like Safeway, Albertsons, and Fred Meyer. Here Walmart is much less competitive. I did some research today and noticed frozen pizza, spaghetti sauce and chips were cheaper. While I paid more for milk, cheese, and frozen chicken. I think I'll save myself the huge crouds, depression and long lines by avoiding Walmart in the future. Besides the other chain stores probably treat their employees well, give them health insurance, and don't buy all their stuff from China.
