There is an interesting situation. If you are taking some of the drugs that are used in treating Inflammation Such as Prednisone, Methatrexate, plaquinil, etc you are more likely to catch communicable diseases and take longer to get over them. It would be reasonable to say that under those circumstances you are not only endangering your own health, but you would as a result of a slower recovery pose a danger to more of the patients as a result of your illness being carried by you for a longer time. Unless you made a point of stopping work the moment you became ill and not returning to work until you were clear from the illness.
