I am not quite sure what the exact year this organization was created (sometime around 2002/2003?). From what I understand some of the organizers of the American Coed pageant system split and decided to organize NAM (National American Miss).
I'm not the same person who answered this question in the first place, but I know that all the letters and websites for National American Miss say they have been around for 28 years. They still have videos online of girls who won way back in like, the 1990s or something.
